I'm Katia Monge, a proud Guatemalan designer/illustrator and third year student at Istituto Marangoni Milano, on womenswear and accessories. As a source of creativity, I utilize mixed media experimentation, in particular deconstructivism and the juxtaposition of movement. Joining both my culture and a contemporary skill set, I take each project, experience, and social construct as part of my artistic building blocks and alternative research. Imaginative, motivated, and vivacious are words that describe me, I consider learning new skills to be a fascinating factor that enables me to absorb and apply attention to detail.
