ESTHÈTE Fall Winter 2021-2022 is inspired by the sensitivity to art and time of limitation during this lockdown period. Experimenting in the flare for deconstruction, despair and imperfection.  Therefore re-using of thread to innovate conceptual garments, giving it a taste of nostalgia during the lockdown period, With 1920’s column silhouettes, defined by utility. Creating Functional outerwear with detachable qualities as an investment in comfort and protection throughout different climates. Manipulating draping on volumed surfaces as an exploration of new techniques. Providing a safe space for our subconscious to take over through the act of playing dress-up, reminiscing the historical concept of maximalism and glamour. Consequently using oversized proportions as a satire, as part of a healing state, for anxiety and oppression.
